Skiving Thursday

Well, as you guys can see, I just changed my blogskin. Its all pink now!!! I dunno why but recently I am in the mood for pink. Unfortunately, I’ve got the bg of this skin’s resolution totally wrong. Must be something which went wrong at the html codings, blame all on that stupid small screen laptop of mine. I paid 2,800 for it and I cant even play a proper game of Dota without any lags. Its ok, this is a temporary error, I will clear it up like soon, how soon? Not sure, depends on the free time I have, =P

Recently, I found new love………

Photoshop, flower prints, dresses, hersheys choc (So org………. fill in the blank pls.), green eye shadow, pinky pumps and chunky earrings plsss.

It has been a sleepy week for me, I dunno why but each time I am typing an article, I just cant help nodding my head off to lala land. Boooo, its time for coffee to wake me up a lil.

I just read fel’s blog and she has just removed her naval piercing. She told me horrible stories abt her experience having a naval piercing. It looks and “sound” kinda painful and even a small tangle with your piercing and tops may end up with plasters everywhere over the stomach. Eweeee fel, u better stop telling me stories while we are at work. I am hardworking can? But anyway, I think naval piercings are nice, minus those aftermaths.

Or how about some tattoos? Those coloured tattoos like Mel’s one is really goddamn nice. Old school punk, something rock. Hehe. If I had the chance, I will definitely do it. But well, not fer the time being. I have to save money for some real shopping. =D

Actually I do miss playing Dota quite a bit now. Hands are itchy and I just feel like gaming. Must persist on! I haven been gaming for about 1 month plus and come on, its saddening. =( I MISS GAMING!!!!

This kinda like a boring entrée but I think I will be too busy to even touch my laptop for the next few days. Shopping and hair treatment time for Queen Wanjun.

So its 2.00 pm now and I am blogging away. Hehe. Fel said she is blogging so i shall follow suit and do the same. And fel this is fer u. ITS PHOTO UPDATES TIME!!!! Haha. For those who dun understand its ok. Its a joke between me and her. =D

I dunno wads this entry fer but well since i have photos here with me I shall upload some noww!!

And guess wad! This is my office computer! Pretty old sch but it has stick with me for 4 months now. No way that I am gonna despise it, no way that I am gonna put it down no matter how fel insults my slow-but-steady Windows 2000 computer. =(

But afterall, its still a backdated com which no one is using now. Sometimes i admit i do miss my laptop lying ard at home. Booo.

I think I have been pretty lazy lately. Surfing friendster, msn-ing away and blog hopping ard when I am supposed to be working. I am even reading those blogs by ppl whom i dunno. Haha, blame it on boredom though.

And when i was waiting to go out one day, i decided that i shld take some pictures. hehehehe.

O yesterday when i was on msn, this guy suddenly added me. His nick was something then "BLOCK ME SIA". I think he is a psycho. Initially as I tot it was a friend of mine, i accepted the invite and he started the convo.

"Hi I am James"

I tot for a moment and recently I dun think i get to know a guy named James. Fine, so i asked him.

"Who are u?"

He said he is James again and wanted to conduct a truimph survey.

At tat moment i tot again. wad victory survey? Ok I know it was bimbotic but well, I was still caught in shock, cant blame me.

Then i asked him who is he.

He told he is sorry that he added me like this but he needed to do a survey.

I was terribly pissed already. And he finally said.

"I am from Truimph International."

Great. Someone from Truimph International added me on MSN. Shld i go "wow"? This is shit. He kept saying he needed to do a survey but like wad questions am I gonna expect?

"can i know ur cup size? Wads ur breast size?"

Fuck man such people. He is just another pervert and use ur useless brains if ure reading this Mr 'James'. No one ever do a survey by adding a surveyee on msn, besides, Truimph International is a prestigious brand and dey dun hold surveys. Pea Brain. -_- Wassup with perverts nowadays. Such disaapointments. And oh, that explains his nick of "BLOCK ME SIA" cuz straight after that I blocked him and deleted him from msn. I believe he added me from Friendster. Its bullshit. Boys and Girls pls spend more time doing something fruitful instead of this. Thank u and ur kindness will be much appreciated.

Ok that was the end of my complaints. Well I am usually not like this but probably it was the limit, thats it. Friendster has been giving alot of such stuff and I am pretty annoyed by it. ok, time to smile wanjun and back to work. =D

A trip down North Korea

As I read the papers today, I saw some news on north Korea. Some of you may know that N.Korea is preparing on its missile launch like soon. We dunno when but soon..... So out of curiosity, i went to google out related information on North Korea. Here is what I found.

The capital of N.Korea as we all know is Pyongyang. One really ghostly city. On a very normal day, we mayb find streets on Pyongyang 100 times more deserted than our very own orchard road.

Yup, hows that? I heard that most of the ppl in pyongyang are not allowed to leave their homes unnecessarily. And that explains only a few shopping centres and one hotel which has been under construction for 15 years. I heard that this hotel will be a 105 storeys. Amazing but i was just wondering since their migration rate is 0% then why bother to even build a hotel. But well, N.Korea has always strike upon me as a aloof country, somewad maybe a country which I will never be able to enter.

THis one-man dictatorship country holds upon tons of propaganda. The propoganda in N.Korea can be strongly felt.

The same kinda posters can be seen everywhere. Gah. Poverty is prevalent in that region but N.Korea is just like a strong kid, who prefers to stand on itself and make their own crops. I do not know if this is something complimenting or not but i do know that its not doing the citizens any good. Besides, alot of N.Koreans had attempted to escape from the country, over to S.Korea or even China. Speaking of China, I extracted this picture from the Straits Times.

Quite interesting, on the picture itself, It looks as if the distance between China and N Korea is a stone throw away, I mean on the newspaper la. However I heard that its only 50 m apart and separated by a small river. Tumen, some part of China which I have nv heard before either can actually see the full view of some small town in N.Korea. I heard this small town of N.Korea is only 20 football fields big.

The apartments seemed rather rundown but yet, its considered to be one of the places with better living conditions in N.Korea. Some have tried to cross the river over to Tumen, China but the success rate is low. With all that Soldiers guarding the outskirt of N.Korea, holding their rifles and all, tell me how do u get away? If been caught, one could face a death penalty. Haiz. I am pretty sadden by this. If I ever have a chance, I will get there to take a look personally, will be a real big eye opener.

Actually I got all this infor from a journalist who managed to bribe one of the soldiers with camel cigerettes (tsk tsk..) and he posted a picture of the stamp from the Pyongyang airport.

Quite old I think, 6 years back then. But since North Korea is inaccessible, getting to see this stamp on your passport is quite a feat eh?

The Pyongyang railway. Looks kinda grand. Interestingly, despite the 0% rate of migration and religions, i heard that they have 0% aids case as well. Wow, something commendable I guess. =D

Well, we are pretty fortunate to be living in Singapore, whereas other ppl have to live under fear and dictatorship every single day. So stop complaining fellow ppl. Work harder, be less catty. Meow.

Whats in the entree anyway?

Its a Saturday and it means that I have 7 more weeks to go before ending my internship. Time flies, it feels like it was only yestderday when I stepped into the office and begin my first day of work and wonder when will it be week 20. I am desperate to go back to sch. Electives!!!! Damn.

I am darn broke now and I cant go out! Still gotta wait for the next pay which is next next Monday on the 26th. I promise I am so gonna indulge in that shopping spree. I need it. Gah. This week, i spent most of my time reading The Electric New paper. Trust me, its hell funny. I extracted this from one of the articles.

In case its too small, Lemme tell u, this is a picture of a bear and a cat. Apparently the big bear is afraid of a wad u call "leopard look alike", the mini version and so it climbed up high up on the tree. Haha. The bear is making me roll on the floor la. I was laughing to myself, looking silly in front to my computer.

I had a retro look yesterday. Some say i look damn in the 60s with my polka dot top and a really big white head band and a huge chunky earring and my curly wurly long hair. Some say i look like a chamber maid and some say i look like the model in the milk maid advert. Wad do u think? But overall I think its a new look la. Dun always same look ma, its damn boring can. But i think this retro look should work. =P

Mom came back from taiwan and bought me a lot of clothes and wedges!!! The clothes look damn jap la. How to wear? One of it is a jumper. If i wear it, it definitely reminds u of a construction worker but i dun care la, i will still wear.

I am darn interested in afro hair nowadays. Wad do u think?

Its just so bulky in my mouth, even the thought of it. Eweeee. One more year to go. Gah. O ya, I am so into soccer nowdays la. Brazil seems to "deprove" alot, so not on form. I highly doubt they can be the world cup champs cuz Ronaldo was slammed on the media abt his "fattiness". Cut those spare tyre away Ronaldo. And I was watching Argentina yesterday, Messi is damn fast la, he is only like 20 years old and the way he plays on the field is so unique that u surely cant miss out on him. Argentina holds rather high hopes on entering the top 4, =D But overall, i still like England becuz of Becks, Rooney and Gearrad. XD

GO England! GO Argentina! GO Brazil! I cant wait for July 9 - the WORLD CUP FINALS. hehe.

OK enough abt soccer, time to go make myself busy and i hope Mel is enjoying herself in Bangkok. I am so jealous la. XD Buy some Thai ice tea!!!

World cup fever and many more.............

First i would say FUCK BLOGSPOT. I am sorry but just when i was abt to published everything, it went poof and they said there is an error. half hr. WTF? -_- Sorry i was so pissed.

Well, forget abt it. i watched the Japan vs Australia just now. It was hell damn interesting la. Australia scored 3 goals within the 10 mins i think and thrashed Japan like hell. 1-3. Woohoo. Asians can nv win angmohs who are so big size and bugly. Really. HAHA. Fel bet on Japan and she was so pissed that so lost..... $10. Fel 10bucks only la, dun be so sad over it. Kns. HEHE. O ya, one goal by Australia was terrific la, it hit one of the poles of the goal post and went in. the commentor jsut went "beautiful lovely GOAL". Whoa.

This world cup has really create a fever and everyone is so hyped up abt it. Got home at 11 just to hear 3 consecutive GOALS!!!!! LOL.

I MISSED MY "so u think u can dance". GAH. Went for dinner with my editor and her friend whom i will call Mr Gentlemen. Interesting guy I would say. Haha. WHERE HAS ALL GOOD GUYS GONE TO? TELL MEEE!!! Well, i was kidding and i know there are good guys out there and thats to all hopeful girls out there!!!!

I tightened my braces recently also, only to find myself munching tearfully on 3 canadian pizzas yesterday nite. Me, Julia and her friend were waiting for close to 2 hrs for the pizza which was supposed to be sent from 6th ave (lol not sims ave i heard wrongly julia) to pandan valley. I dunno why it took so damn long. I hate waiting for stuffs like this. Waste of my time only. Gah. Probably my braces are hurting me alot too. Vanity comes with a price. A painful one indeed.

Lemme warn u. Being curly headed is so irritating. I have to wash my hair every other day, put curling lotion, conditioner and all to make it nice. EVEN after that, i have to keep twisting me hair all ard when its wet to make it look nice. wth la! I miss my straight hair and i think my life has been as frazzled as my hair. Expecially when u have tons of work to complete each day. ARTICLES NEWS ARTCLES DEADLINES NEWS!!!! EVERYDAY!!!! -_- Stop whining Wanjun. O well, i do complain but i love my hair still. Gee.

I love Queen's couture at Heeren. The American street wear its just so damn nice. At first it was on sale then i tot maybe it will jsut cost abt 29.90 or so. Then when i wanted to pay, the person said it was 69.90 la. But well, its all worth la, i LOVE IT! Muacks to my new top. And thank u to the person who paid fer it. =)

Life has been good recently and I am glad u made me smile once again. I was happy to see ur smile, so genuine and I know u enjoyed the company so much. Back to the first time like we met. Feels so good and sweet. i was touched on the 8th of June. =)

Today is Tuesday and I am stuck at home. Bah. Mum is going to Taiwan tml and she will be gone for hmmmm, 8 days. Dinner outside for me everyday. Haiz. Booooooo.

As i was watching some beauty show, it amazes me by the amount of cute stuff Japan has. One of it is the "nose clip" where it can make your nose higher. How interesting. But I think it looks kinda intimidating and painful. Imagine if u have to use some clip to clip on your nose, u cant breathe for nuts! I like it. =P

I know I am being random here but suddenly i have this urge to go to a masquerade. Wun it be interesting to see everyone wearin masks and dancing away. haha. It just feels that the party is somesort creepy yet full of mystery. I like that feeling, mysterious and glam. Ah.

Fear. Resentment. uncertainty. Is that supposed to be my feelings?? Someone enlighten me. Not for any reasons but its just one of my moody days. Haha. I am in love with fairytales recently. Beauty and the beast. Cinderella. Snow White. Happily ever after. Reminds me if there is really something called happily ever after......... Is there? Ok wanjun better stop me emo here and there. =D

I am meeting someone for dinner tml and that someone just refuses to go to Bugis. You better remember your promise alright. I hold your words. Hehe.

When u have a love-hate r/s

Hmmm as the GSS commences, poor wanjun is stuck at home admiring herself on the mirror. well, my pay is only a pathetic 450 as every intern knows and i have to spend about 60 on dental (awwww braces. damn.) and 45 on mrt pass. -_- I eat alot for your information, like junk food and so 250 is always just enough only. total of 355 gone, which means left only abt 100. And this month i did my hair - i permed it. and so 70 bucks flew away but lucky mum gave me 100. Oh damn. My pay is pathetic, money pls drop from the sky, i will be so grateful. WHY MUST GSS BE HERE NOW!!!! OMG!!!! Grrrrrr, i have a love-hate relationship with the GSS this year. I better keep my self away from all danger zones especially ORCHARD ROAD. -_- And well my hair cost me $170 and it has to be nice like of cuz!

And if case ure wondering how my hair looks like, i will upload my picture soon la. I dunno whats wrong with blogspot today, i cant upload images. -_- I need to buy that nokia cable which cost ard 30 bucks i think to do data transfer. Damn. My hair is kinda dry now but i m sure it will be healthy soon and credit goes to treatment. more money flying away. Gosh.

Its a Friday again

Hey ya. Its a friday again. Lemme tell u one good news. I am gonna perm my hair tml!!!!! Oh yay!!! 126 bucks will fly away + 40 bucks treatment = 166bucks in total! Gosh. But well vanity dun just come without a price. Booooo. I love being a girl.

Mabel dun be late tml hor. U are always late lor, I bet a dinner with u. And we are so gonna have fun tml! =P EMO! YOU YES YOU! Abandon us again. Tsk tsk.

This week work has been a lot and opps, i made a mistake. The interim report is only a 1000 word and phew. I finished it just on the dot. O ya. My editor is leaving for the entertainment and TV Group. So sad. No one to accompany me during lunch. No one to advise me on work. No one to give me a lift to Eunos after work. no one to lend me a book when I m sad. Boooo. Even though i have only known her for like 11 weeks but she struck me as a really nice lady, nice friend, nice editor, nice mummy. Even the time we known each other is short, i will still miss u natalie! Hope that u can find better prospect in the other side, as people always say, the grass is always greener on the other side. =)

I have made a new friend recently. She is a nice girl and i haven been pestering her this whole week. Thank you so much girl and u know who u are. If you are reading this, remember, i still owe u a drink! haha.

As I said, life has been rather simple and quiet for me. This peace is probably something I haven had for a long time, a long long time. Well, enough of it, if not i can see ur eyes closing.
