ALAS!!!!

Ok, So I am alive again. =D

The weekends was really really Bizzy. And well just as I was readin thur Geri Tan's blog, I extracted this paragraph from Geri Tan.


"There were the occasional quarrels of course, usually between wanjun tan and me =P But we had great times too, and so much fun during classes that our Geography teacher seperated our tables and constantly scolded us. But it was soooo fun! Right, wanjun? Like the time wanjun "strangled" me with the string we were supposed to use to measure the map distances and got caught by the teacher. We still go into fits of laughter thinking about that stupid incident. And let's not forget the one where the teacher thought we were lesbians. =S"


Hehe, ok call me lazy or wadeva but I think I am just lazy la. Hehe, I tot of sec sch days, again. Well, abt that stringy thing, it wasnt meant to strangle Geri, but more like letting her rest well with the string ard her head. It meant well can. -_- But it was totally bullocks la. Haha. Well, I think this week or sth, I will dig out the year book that I guess is turning yellowish and I shall post some pictures of the "good old days" here again. =D


My gawd. Its time to choose electives soon. But I am darn stuck in between 15 modules and I am only allowed to pick 3. Buggerit! Whoever took away the other 2 electives that was supposedly to be there since like 2 years ago. Da-yum! I think I will go for Advertising Creative, Public Relations and PRINT JOURN!!! How I adore journ. Dun ask me anything abt my internship cuz I will take 3 days 3 nights to tell u. One word abt journ, its gorgeous. Like never before yea??? =D

O I heard my supervisor has already agreed to take a new intern from NP Mcm again. Hehe, I must be darn good? Nahhhhhh. I was just kidding cuz I am just glad I din screw things up for him. Heehee. I am so gonna miss waking up and rushing fer the train early at 8am. Good luck to the next intern from the other cohort and I heard her name is Dawn. Whoever you are, I am certain you are so gonna enjoy internship at REEDS! Especially those snacks and PANTRY!!! My fave hideout, erm place for food.

IT’S GETTING HOT HERE!!! RIGHT NOW!!

And so, if you have gotten a chance to watch Miss Universe, you will know Miss Puerto Rico has been crowned as this year Miss Universe. Wad a feat. Imagine she is only 18 and being crowned as the most beautiful woman for 2006. WHOA. And look at the perks a Miss Universe gets. Fabulous. And so sadly to say, our dear Ms Carol Chong did not get into the top 20. BUT Gorgeous Miss Japan did Asia proud by coming up as the first runner up. SHE IS SECOND. Kurara Chibana, 25, standing at 178 is a sexy "ah lian" who is smart. Brains and looks. =D Singapore Ah lians are mostly wanna-bes and bimbos. -_- Well, nvm abt that. I love her bod. She is damn tall and sexy. =D A new appeal Japan is going towards huh?

O, recently there is this show called Ghost Whsiperers on Friday 11pm. Remember to watch it cuz i think its quite interesting. DESPO HSEWIVES IS ENDING. I am so sad. I have just finished watching it and gosh i wonder when will they be back again?? I like Eva Longoria, so latino and prettaye. Hehe. I dunno wassup with the obsession of girls recently. Ok, maybe an overdose of it. =)

And so....

And so, yea. Its Friday again. Freaking happy! Whoooppee!! I (V) Fridays. Its like one of the best weekdays can? Well, nvm about that. My work has always been so on and off. Sometimes there are damn whole loads of news to write abt but other times, you wun expect a stir. Its rather intricate actually. I shall not confuse the readers abt my internship.

Counting down again. Week 18 is finally approaching. You dunno how happy I am. On another note, I think i am not so happy. Holidays are coming which means that I will be sleeping the whole day, wake up, eat, dota, sleep, wake up, eat, dota. Bah. I shall plan for some fruitful stuff. Those eyebags are getting out of hand. Zzzzzz. Alright, enough of all those deep-down-the-heart confessions.

AND SO!!!! Yesterday was helluva fun. Great time RELISHING the past. Awww. I believed Geri received qutie a number of prezzies. =) I love bdays. Best time to give and take. Hee.

And for abt close to a year. I din even step into a pool/billard parlour. So after dinner, all of us decided to play some pool. Gosh. I think I have deproved quite alot. I can even miss hitting the white ball sometimes. Thats quite sad. And we are all planning for a bowling session and OF CUZ - clubbing-chillout sessions. There is no way Geri you can say no to us. I mean afterall we are young only once. Geeee. Catch Geri the Grand in a club like real soon. STAY TUNE. =)

Cantonese is so interesting. I do not really know how to speak but I think its just so different from Hokkien and Chinese. So ytd, Jemimah was speaking to me and Dudley in broken cantonese. (Like yea right huh? Hee). So the convo goes like this.

O, pardon the wrong hanyu-pinyin (if there is), afterall I scored an A1 in cheena writing, not hanyu pinyin can? Ok, I am not flaunting. I AM NOT! *wide eyed* =pPpPpP Ok, lets all be serious now. The whole convo was in cantonese. Be amazed by the amount of canto I can actually speak (I am a Hakka btw).

Me : Ci sou hai bin dou ar? (where is the toilet)
Jem: Ci sou hai gou dou - points to the toilet. (The toilet is there)

I was figuring how to say thank you but can't remember. So:

Me: Gam sia. (thank you in hokkien)


Jem rolls her eyes and dudley looks kinda confused with themix of hokkien and canto. I think others were roaring in laughter. And taking advantage of that chance that dud doesnt know how to speak canto. I decided to make a joke.


Me: Yi gou gei dou qin ar? - points to dudley (How much is this worth?)

Jem laughs.

Dudley: wad both of you talking abt?
Jem talks to dudley: Lei hai gou chun ar. (you are just so silly enough)


And dudley tried to act smart;


Dudley: Mou ar (no!) --- he actually knows limited canto and a good mix of Hokkien vulgarities.


So we were amazed - wow, he could actually blabber a canto word.

Jem: Lei hai gou cong meng ar (you are clever enough)
Dudley: Mou ar (No!)


How smart ar? HAHA. And den.


Jem: Lei hai gou chun ar. zhen de. (you are really silly, really.)
Dudley: Mou ar! (no!)


And taking advantage again of his "mou ar", "mou ar", Jem decided to:


Jem: Lei hai gou leng zai ar (you are a handsome dude)
Dudley: HAI AR (YES!!)


-_- So it was damn funny. The convo thruout was him with his "no!" and when someone complimented him, he finally said "yes". Duh. haha.


Back to the good old days.....


I still cant imagine when we were all so geeky in the sec sch days. Somewhat outcasted cuz of that nerdiness. Geri and I look rather alike. I will post a picture of me and her last time. That is if I can find it la. And now. HAHA. Quite different la. Its amazing how time flies. I DUNWAN TO BE OLD PLSSSS. So how i wished i could have a 1 week life in sec sch again.

All these thots left me pondering abt wad if i had gone to a JC instead, will i be enjoying as well? We are so limited with choices. It will be either this or that. Cant really choose to have two. Thats sad. =( Then I was thinking again, if i had gone to a JC, wat abt poly? My Polymates has brought so so much fun that i have not ever imagine before (back to that geeky self). We all tattle during sch days and get all tart up for clubbing sessions. These are the stuff which probably can nv be replaced. Hehe.

Monday Blues

So we are all counting down to 3 more weeks. =D

I seriously seriously miss school. I know I've said it like a few thousands times but I really miss school. =(

Well, I know I've said that I am gonna revamp this plain looking blog but I am so time-restrained la. I mean last saturday it was Glen's gf, Gwen's bday and we had some celebration for her.

Sunday was Pirates of the Carribbean. Gosh, Orlando Bloom and gosh! Johnny Depp! The shots and all were close to excellent but i tot that the twist in the show was just bad. How can Keira start liking Jack Sparrow!!! I mean Turner was supposed to be in love with Elizabeth and Eliz in love with Turner. Wasnt that how the whole story started? Zzzzzz. Ok fine, call me baised or wadever but i think Orlando Bloom is more compatible with Keira! I mean ya la, I like Johnny Depp as well but in terms of compatibility, Orlando Bloom obviously matches well with the actress. Come on, dun deny. I know ure gonna say yes. =) O well, we shall watch the third part which is like perhaps gonna take another 3 years or so to make. But then the cute guys will become ugly old guys. -_- Hee. i wan to be a Pirate too! Pirate Wanjun! No more The Queen! Ok no, or maybe the Queen of all Pirates. =D

Now be jealous. I had Godiva Chocolate drink just now! It was a filthy 8 bucks. Like 2 more bucks than the normal coffee bean. But I guess its just worth a one time drink. So nice. So delicious for that one time only 8 dollars.

Pump it up @ DXO is abt a week or so away (29th July, sat) and I guess its gonna be a great party and familiar faces ard. Do say hi to me if u see me there. That is IF I am going. Dun be rude and be nice and say hi ok? =D I m helping those selling the tickets to promote the party, now where is my commission??? =P

Anyways, couple of ppl's bday recently. The upcoming one is my post-bestie cum still-a-good-friend now, Geri Tan's hatch day. HAPPY 19th BDAY GERALDINE TAN XIU LING. Now u better be happy that i m dedicating this section of my blog to your grand 19th bday. See you on thurs and dun be late. Hee. Its been a while since i saw my secondary school friends. I wonder how are they now. It feels funny though, haven been seeing ppl for goddamn long time.

O ya! I wore specs today. Damn. Got a few looks while roaming ard city hall, I think I look geeky in specs but I seriously dunno what looks nice on me. Rectangle, square, oval or triangle??? Its ok, I dun mind looking like some erudite old journalist in the office sometimes (though being just an intern is bad enough). I realised that contact lens aint that good for eyes, Remember, let your poor eyes rest for at least like 2 days a week and refrain from wearing them non-stop, we know you love contact lenses but i think spectacles are good at times!

Ok, time to dota soon. I am like training some new character. It better not throw my face. =D I <3 subway now. No reason. It probably feels healthy. =)


Monday isnt that blue afterall. With some great msn companion, lots of sinful tibits, an old and almost-breaking-down windows 2000 and erm, good old WanJun. Monday can never be blue again! Hee. Alright, I was kidding abt the last point. =P

I din really like coldplay initially but after their concert on Monday nite, i tot they were real good. =) The band, the ppl, the atmosphere, the fans and the BIG YELLOW BALLOONS when they sang the song yellow. Awwwwwww.....

Busy Bee

As you guys can see, my last update was July 04 which is like about a week ago. I have been busy the week (yea rite) slacking away on msn and munching on afternoon snacks, so much for a sedentary lifestyle. The next semester when I return to school, I will probably be much heavier. Time to change my jeans and up one more size. =D

The MNG sales was nothing fabulous. I can imagine myself wearing some mng top (if i'd bought something there) from the 70% sales only to find myself getting mirror images all over. Typical Singaporean girls – mng top, Levis jeans and a pair of flats that goes *piak piak* when you walk. Like whoever started the fashion?! Hehe. Ok, Wanjun shld stop bitching like now cuz I dun think she is any better. =PpPpPpP

I was just wondering when can we ever wear space suits and float ard, saving all that energy to walk home, or maybe our government could build some escalator that transports us back to our home without the need of walking to the mrt station and squeezing in the packed train with some ignorant aunties stepping on our toes or some office girls with big huge bag knocking at your chest every few seconds. Grrrrrr. I dunno why but I have been meeting such ppl on the train and it annoys me a lot. I m usually nice tempered but when it comes to such thing, pls spare me. It was quite funny to see an auntie trying to snatch some seats from an old uncle. This fat lady wanted to sit on the chair and save another seat for her friend but the uncle who came along practically shove her big ass away and sat down, pretending it was like a norm to him. People around watching looked rather amused and I guess this is wad we always call, Kiasu Singaporean. I hope I wun be like them when I grow older. =P

Guess wad, my msn khaki Fel the grand din come to work, again. Tsk tsk, time to work harder. Tell me, who has 11 MCs for an only-not-even-16 weeks internship. Buck up fel. Tsk tsk. Anyways I saw your nick at 2 am last nite , dota -_-

Talking abt dota, I think I have dotaed for 9 hours the other day. Not too bad, but there was a deprovement in my skills and I cant help getting angry over stupid teammates, not that I m goddamned good but I think Dota makes people flare. So much anger for a game of 10! Out of 10 buggers, at least 6 will be pissed for wadever reasons they have. I decided that maybe Dudley and I should do more productive stuff rather than dota our lives away. Stock broking? Café? Business? And our very next porshe in the next few years. Lemme dream. =D But dota is a never-dying game, it’s fun, its evil.

O great, I almost forgot that I am gonna catch the Coldplay concert tonight and the tickets were freeeeeeeee!! It was from my editor, he is so nice lar! HEHE, hopefully I have more of such perks. =PpPpPpP Like I said before but I wish to say it again, being a journalist is goddamn good can?? I always mix up Coldplay with Simple plan songs. I love Simple Plan!!!! And guess wad, its my first time to a live concert, so dui lian lar but nvm, its never too late. =D I will try to take some pictures later but I think I am damn tall to even take pictures, probably the heads of those crazy fen si. But seriously, would u spend 150 on a ticket even though that bugger is some star whom u idolise a lot? I wun but lemme tell u about my answer to this again after I attend the concert later. =)

Time for a super countdown. Its exactly a month towards the last day of internship including the short weekends. Wad a tearful wait. =( Luckily I have momo and felly and manda to do a countdown with me. =)))




Ok, shall stop snaking and back to reading electric new paper and ST again. My life is sad. -_-

Well, recently, I caught the superman returns movie. I give a 3.5 outta 5.

It wasnt exactly interesting but well, there was a good mix of cute actors and pretty babes. Then suddenly, today, it gave me an idea and below shows the idea that i had.
