I Like Wad I See

Hey folks! Am back again. I guess I have been really very busy with work and play that I got no time to blog!


Anyway some updates abt my life.

Was deployed for the Singapore Bay Run otherwise known as SAFRA Sheares Bridge Run and Army half-Marathon last Sunday. 70,000 participants actually turned up at the floating platform@Marina Bay and it was an awesome experience!!!! Love it! But had to wake up at 3.30am though.

As usual I was deployed for the media side and various media turned up. This time, I was deployed to take a aerial shoot from the rooftop of Fullerton Hotel! It was like a breath-taking experience! Trust me!!! U'd love it too!

And the photographer, myself and the Marcom Manager of Fullerton was caught on camera by one of my colleague! Haha.


Overall it was a great day and I was feeling all tired and energy-less after the event. Oh and saw like the most amt of NSFs in my whole lifetime I guess.... They are quite well trained and orderly in a way. Haha. Saw the celebrity Dawn Yeoh (the Mediacorp artiste) as well cuz I think she was the invited artiste and I think she looks fabulous in person! Very tall and slender. I think shes at least 1.7m in height and shes very skinny! Her arms are like mine or maybe even skinnier! I like her, she's pretty friendly too. :)



Oh well, recently I spent lots of money buying clothes and its time to cut it down, I know I always say that and procrastinate away but I guess I shld start on it soon! Anyway just to share, I discovered this shop called the sixties Inspired Design Studios at Citilink opposite Gelare which sells really retro and nice clothes! Its kinda affordable too! Go check it out! Pretty pretty please**


Saw a sec sch friend the other day in Orchard doing Runway modelling and she looks kinda odd. I think she has the figure but probably not the attitude. U know those Runway models like Heidi Klum, Giselle Bundchen, Tyra Banks and etc.... They are just so "WHOA!". Though shes my friend but I think its just so awkward to see her on the runway and I guess she needs more training in catwalking. I am surprised to see her too and actually I prefer her "sweet" look more than the current sultry look. Just my personal opinion. I think her life changed ALOT but still, I wish her all the best and the media industry is definitely not easy gal. :)



Anyway, went to SIM for orientation today and I saw quite a number of familiar faces around. LiRong is in the same class as me! Wheeeeeee... at least I wun get bored after all! Hehe....

They gave us this very big and chunky black file with all the first sem, first module notes inside.

"Managing A Communication Business"

Seems boring, sounds boring but I think it shld be fun. Though almost similar to wad I have learnt in Poly but I think it will be super-theory based and I think its incorporated with more life examples. =)

The orientation was fast, like only 1 and a half hours and I went all the way to Bukit Timah just for that! Luckily Terence Tan and Kylie was nice to come and fetch me from SIM and we went to eat our favourite fish soup near my workplace!!!! Terence owes Kylie a Diamond Ring and we all know why. HAHA! That bugger is bringing Chivas for Kylie's bday and lets hope the bday boy gets all drunk!!!! ;)

I promise!!!!!




Oh ya! Had food poisoning on Sunday and puked from 12am to 6am on Monday and of cuz I couldn't go for work. Stayed at home the whole day and I felt HORRIBLE! Couldn't even walk to the doctor and I think I almost needed to crawl there! Bad bad bad! I couldn't figured what I ate to cause the food poisoning though. Damn. Now my stomach still feels as though something is churning inside. :(

I was feeling nostalgic a few moments ago.

I had many thots of my love life in a summary........


How I used to have a crush, my first crush. The heart throbbing moment when he used to walk past me and whenever he looks at me. My heart would almost literally stop for that instant. U know the first time when we like someone, its so interesting and the feeling is so exciting. Haha. Indeed, it was overwhelming but such a pity we didn't contact each other until only during my Poly days, thru friendster when I found my first crush ever once again. But memories stayed at where we were in pri sch, makes me wonder what would happened if we still kept in contact last time. Haha. :)

And then was my secondary school days. Still so fresh and vivid in the head. I began to have another crush. Just when I tot that it was love, it was again, puppy love. I liked hthe guy for three years and was left with a broken heart. Well not exactly broken but yea...... It was the first time I ever knew wad was a heartache. It almost felt like the entire world stopped for me when the "love" was not reciprocated. Haha.... Funny and naive but the genuine me. :)

After the sec sch days, met a few guys and began to know how it was like to be wooed after and to get into relationships. It din last long but I knew I left some broken hearts and it din feel that great. Guilty probably. But life still goes on.

And Poly days when I finally fell in love totally and got the first-hand experience of what love is about. Its about giving and taking, sacrifices, tolerance, being noble, being reasonable, being caring and being who you are. But there will be no promises such magical feeling can be taken away any time, any moment. Thats life for u. Unpredictable yet like a roller coaster ride, exciting and thrilling. :)



Gone are the days as such nostalgic moments fly by as though the wind which has just gently brushed across your face. Gone be it gone.


Sometimes I wonder, what is ahead and in store for me in life. I tot it would be like a big gift, presented to me, all wrapped, perfect and of cuz it would be be good to have a lil ribbon to top it all off.

Some ppl lived a lifetime of decadence while some lived a life full of anticipation and drive. I think being committed to indulgence is nice and all, but the latter always suits me better. I have big dreams but I wonder when I can ever fulfill them. Always wanted to be different and not like those others who would jump on the bandwagon and do things out of being the norm.

At the end of the day, I guess everyone is different.



Sometimes I wonder, what on Earth am I here for? I am still looking for the answer.
I want to be a better person after looking back. I am still trying. Trying hard.




Life is never like a bed of roses.
But when u see it in a different light, you may surprise yourself one day.

Some ppl are just so effed up. I cant stand ppl who cant keep their mouth shut and ppl who think highly of their effing selfs. Bullshit ok.

Xiaxue blogged abt the 5 most disgusting bloggers in the blogosphere and to join in the trend, I shall blog abt the top few most disgusting ppl I have seen and met. Yea, bitchay but doing it once in awhile seems healthy though. Teehee. =P


Come to think of it, I hope I will never ever be associated with the following..... erm wadever u wanna call them/it:

• Bitchy, and I mean really bitchy ppl. Well I think we meet them rather often, its life.
• Gurls who think they are damn pretty and look down on others (esp on fat ppl). And I happened to meet one 2 years ago and I think I am very fortunate that I wun ever meet her again (or so I cross my fingers). It was almost the most horrifying experience EVER of mankind history please. PUI!
• Spoilt brats who cant even take a single bit of pain or suffering, its like so "oh come on". Seen some but dunno them personally.
  
• Egoistic guys (and gurls as well). Met a few too.
• Girls who give up friendship and lose their conscience over a guy. Been there, met one, maybe two or perhaps more. Actually quite a lot lah.
• Biased ppl. Met many many.
  
• Idiotic ppl who likes to give things last min and demand it to be done immediately as if we have 48 hours a day in the whole wide world. -_- Selfish shit. MAJOR PUI! Met a few and more to come.

Sigh. Where have all the good souls gone to? I desperately need to meet good ppl soon. :(

Haha. K la better stop it before I sin further by bad mouthing others. Oh well, if not for the events which happened lately, I guess I wun be intrigued to blog abt such stuff.

We must always bear that in mind, especially when u feel like crap sometimes.

Yep, done with my complaints and it's a nice new world again. I love everything! Its good to let out abit sometimes. Haha. The world isnt that ugly afterall. :)



Despite everything, I always remind myself that I have the most fabulous friends on Earth, so thank God for that. I am blessed with quite good luck most of the time. My family loves me no matter wad. I have someone there for me and loves me truly and the most sincerely. :)

- Debbie Wong is so so pretty! She has gotta be one of the hottest girl I have EVER SEEN!
- Maggie Tan (no.4) and Andrea Fonseka (no.10) from Deal or No Deal is super HOT la!
- I just realised that one of the guy which I used to date is in the finals of Star Search 2007 on Channel 8. Hahaha. I tot he has always bee rather talented.
- Hmmmm.... I wanna go Holiday at the end of this year with my beloved friends. Haha. Taipei, Bangkok or US? Kylie is going Aussie next year already, I shall tag along for a holiday since I haven been there before!
- Anyway, there has been a commotion in the office abt LV and Coach bags lately. Haha. Thanks to Sharon and Cynthia. Cyn just bought an LV bag ytd and she got the LV Catalouge la! I heard they dun anyhow give one. Damn nice lei! I used to think that LV is stupid. Dunno why so many ppl spend a few thousand on it. Now I know why. SO NICE LEI! I like this Bowling Montaigne GM bag!!! The Epi leather is so nice!!!!


Prettilicious** I heard its abt close to $2k.


I wonder when I will ever get my first LV bag with so many stupid debts. Haha. Coach is a few hundred cheaper in US I heard but I dun really fancy Coach. LV!!!!! Oh well. One day when I become richer la. Haha... dunno when also. *Dreams*

- There is also this Baby G watch endorsed by SHE, the white one is so nice lei! But its abt $118. :( Nice and good to have but not a necessity. BUT ITS SO NICE LEI!!!!!!

Sch's starting in abt A MONTH or so! I am excited!!!! :) Paid my sch fee last week, there goes my savings. Boohoo...... :( I am so tempted to pick up driving but braces + sch fees are enuff to kill me. Each time I see Kylie drive, wah like so EXCITING lei. I cant wait to put my hands on the steering wheel and get a feel of DRIVING! I am pretty sure I will be a better driver than Kylie... HAHA! Slowly but surely.... a reckless one as well. Teehee. Well, thats only after I remove the braces which is hopefully soon and when I am done with my degree within abt 2 years time! :)


Busy busy for the next few weeks.

This week - SAFRA's Roadshow at Bugis. And I will be deployed this Saturday from 11am to 9pm. Kua kua.... There goes my Saturday. Oh well. Those who are in NS and not SAFRA Member, WE WELCOME YOU!!!! :) Come down to Bugis from now till 19Aug to find out more abt it urself! :)

Next Sunday, Singapore Bay Run, or u can call it Singapore Sheares Bridge Run or u can call it half-army marathon. DEFINITELY deployed for that day since its like a 60,000 ppl event. Wow, haven seen so many ppl running on the Sheares Bridge!!!! Egg-citing! :)

Cousin's 1-year old bday next Saturday as well, haven gotten him anything yet, maybe a golden pig since this year is the pig year???


Sep is coming and oh that reminds me, time to research on the camera to buy!!!! Gimme some brands pls!!! :)

Next next week, Car Rally... YEA!!! CAR RACING.... I think its gonna be damn exciting. Kylie's bday.... a lot of preparation to be made..... And next next next week, EMO IS COMING IN! :)

Yea... I love my colleagues too! Though we are all from different generation but its so damn fun with them ard!!!!

Yea.... Read fel's blog and we found out that common acquaintance we know just broke up with her bf. We may not know her very well but I think I feel how she feels.

One day when the world came crashing down.
One day without the "him" around, u feel lost. You have nv tot that he will leave u, but he did.

It happened to me once between me and Dudley. Actually I know its kinda sensitive but since it happened a long time ago, I am very open abt it. Not many ppl know the story exactly. But becuz I would really like to encourage the gurl, all I wanna say is, you will smile again one day if you think you won't.

I did love him deeply once, maybe he did too. I thot he will be there for me forever and ever. I have nv thot of the word "break up". I have nv thot abt days w/o him around. Someone asked me, "have you thot abt days w/o him?", I answered and said "Are u mad? Of cuz not!" Perhaps that was what left me really broken. There is no right or wrong but all I can say that when we are in a relationship, one must always be prepared that one day, one of us may leave each other. In that way, we won't feel so hurt when all is lost.

Well thinking back, I dun exactly regret it but I think the break up made me a much much stronger person and just when you think "Oh crap, what am I gonna do w/o him?", another one may just come along and make you feel like the most blissful girl in the Universe. It will be of cuz good if u guys patch it up but you know why things went wrong in the first place. Be thankful of wad you have, always.

Crying is good at this point of time I guess, one day we will be sick of crying and we know its time to stand up again. :) Be strong cuz you know you will smile again.

Perhaps read my previous posts and you will know where I am coming from. I think I am proud to say that I am a better person now. :)

Alrighty enuff of sad emo-ish stuff. Did loads of things over the weekend. For example, caught KNOCKED UP.

ITS A FREAKING FUNNY SHOW! Made me think twice abt giving birth ok. HAHAHA! Go watch it! Abit vulgar tho'.

Simpsons is nice too! Especially first 15 mins of the show, including the part where all the sponsors and production houses are shown. NICE! I love Simpsons after the show! Hehehe.

Oh! Kylie's bday is coming soon and we are planning to have a bbq just at his hse downstairs. He already planned for 50 ppl to come. -_- Tell me how u make these ppl feel full la? 50 lei??? Not buffet lei uncle!!!! Anyways, to make up for your 21st last year la huh. Dun say I am mean and unnice like u always do.

This week will be a rather short week. NDP! "THIS IS HOMEEEEEEE TRULYYYYYYYY".... Wah last time the NDP songs are more catchy and so much easier to sing la! Now its totally not for normal humans to sing one ok. -_- We cant hit high notes like Kit Chan can we? -_-


Oh yea.... I got into SIM-RMIT, will be doing my Bachelors in Comms (Mass Com) starting 25 Sep onwards. Lirong is in the same class as me!!!! Yea! At least not so lonely after all. But needa rush from work to SIM. Mon, Wed and Fris BURNED! 7pm to 10pm and then Saturdays 9am to 5pm! :( But not bad la. Will complete my degree in 1.5 years! Expensive ok! When ure the one earning the money and paying for the sch fees, u feel the heartache, truly! :( Can take another two diplomas already. I think I better study harder than I did in poly, well I din exactly study very hard in Poly though. Haha. I am quite excited abt sch actually..... One more month!!!! :)

This month has been so far great, everything is going smoothly. Emo is coming to work soon too. :) I am seriously grateful with wad I have and I think after talking to Kylie, I shld be more humble and less talkative sometimes. Haha.

Going for sorta bible studies with him from next week onwards and I hope from then, I can discover more about myself and what I have always wanted to believe in, in short, the purpose-driven life. Lets see after 40 days, what do I gain and how much more would I know abt the meaning of our lives then!



Thank God for this month. Its been a roller coasta ride for me and everyone around me this year and things are definitely looking better than ever. I am grateful for what I have and I really hope it will stay that way from now till as long as it can be.
