DIVING anyone?

SIM Dive Club is organising an open water course to Tioman come this June!!! I am so excited!!!!! School of fishes, pretty coral reefs, deep blue sea. Makes me go gaga over it! Its even better than 100 hunks standing in front of me!!! :) I think I will look ridiculous in the suit tho.

If anyone knows any uber cheap diving sch, do let me know ya? Thanks!!!! Planning for advance if I do enjoy the experience. :)

Man Utd won the Champs League!!!!! It was predicted la... Anyway it was so damn close, Chelsea was a stone throw away from the crown. Haha, yea and so Man U won the Champs with the penalty, 6 - 5. Just when I was telling CX abt van der Sar during class yesterday, and he saved the day tis morning. Haha. I would have caught the big match if it wasn't for work, or rather, why must they put the match at such timing??? Rahhhh......

Yoo-hoo...... Let me start the entry with CENTURY EGG PORRIDGE!!!!!


Porridge from 126 Dim Sum shop @ Geylang.... "Wan dao Shi" or something. The red signboard, dingy-looking shop from the outside. Tho I dun fancy century egg, but I tot it looks kinda yummilicious. The duck porridge is still my all-time favourite. ;)

It was Friday night then. Last Friday, the last weekday before the long weekend started! Went to Marina Sq for Fish & Chips at Fins since we are entitled to some promotion. It was not too bad, but too much stuff for dinner. Terence managed to finish everything PLUS half of my fish. Haha. Wad a glutton!


We then made our way to Timbre for drinks after playing some bishi bashi at the arcade.

Timbre is like super ulu, somewhere in a hidden garden or something. If we din drive there, I seriously don't know how to get there with public transport. -_- Can someone tell me?? Anyway they have such nice live band that I will definitely go back there for drinks again! At least I knew 85% of the songs they were singing.... I tot their rendition of Lips of an Angel was one of the best. Too bad I din get to know the band's name. Oh well, I can always go back there to find out again isnt it? Its time girls, when Mabel is back...... =)

Went to 126 after that and ate ALOT. Saw my old-time Dota friend Sebastian!!!! So coincidental!!! Din expect to see each other at such a place and at such weird hr of the nite that day. Haha....

Spent the last two days at home recuperating and charging my energy to be prepared for next week. The next weekend is gonna be longggg.... Runway is just round the corner and it's abt time to get up at ungodly hour again to WORK. I need a good massage soon.... oh yea.... I shall try out the fish spa next week as well....



Wah.... I hate myself for being so irresponsible sometimes. Time to keep my things in a super neat order. It's really ok to lose my own stuff, but not other ppl's. Sigh. Why am I sucha scatterbrain???? Oh well, lesson learnt.

Pilates. I heard that alot of stretching is involved for this exercise. I am considering to do that every Sunday!!! Today I had a stretching competition with my colleagues and damn, all of them could STRETCH!!!!! Except ME! Ok maybe its pilates time!!!! Furthermore it is not very ex, $85 for 8 weeks. =D

Oh dear.... poor China ppl. 7+ Magnitude earthquake. Sheesh, the world seems to be suffering from some fatal illness, perpetual disasters streaming in one after another. Sigh. The Junta in Myanmar are seriously not helping, causing even more epidemics in Yangon. Why are these ppl so stubborn? Why don't they just allow supplies and aid from other countries in to the 1.5mil who are still awaiting for it? Why?

Is the world coming to an end??? Hopefully the sufferings will end soon. Hopefully.

With such things happening around, sometimes I feel very fortunate to be here. I know for one that I am safe and sound, in the tranquility of my own home, blogging away, enjoying my favourite dramas, throwing food away when I can't finish them and whining away about life. I ought to be ashamed.

While some are still wallowing in waves of the helplessness and pain. Could we do something more to help these ppl? I believe so.

UPDATES!

Went out with CX to eat dinner at the Geylang Dim Sum Place which we failed to pronouce the Chinese name. Wahhhh.... the food is totally mouth-watering!!!

Trust me, the photos' quality do no justice to the food below!


Duck porridge is really really nice! One of the nicest porridge I ever had! Even better than the Chang Chen in Chinatown (Actually to start with, I din think the Chinatown was good). =P
4 stars out of 5!


Some fried Prawn something. One bite and you can taste the crunchy prawn! Worth a try!


I remember I ordered this the other time when I went to eat with Emo.... She couldn't stand pork, there you go. Something simple if you are going Vegeterian that day.

There were more, like some Sharks Fin Dumplings, "Zi Bao Ji" (Paper wrapped Chicken", now that's really good! Besides the one near SIM. Haha. I love that! Abit oily though, felt as though I had lip gloss on. Total bill came out to $22. Its still quite affordable, the value you've gotten back is much more than what you paid for. =)


Later after dinner, I met Lewis and Jermaine at Siglap for some drinks and chilling out session. Desmond and his gf came too.

Its been awhile since I last updated! I am back!!!!But not for good. Been up to a lot of things! Work esp. Tons of things to do, esp with a major thingy coming up in July. Cant wait for it to be over so we can regain our lives!

School is starting again next Mon. :( BUT one thing to be happy about - its gonna be my favourite module for the whole course - Integrated Marketing Communications! In short also known as MarComs. Closely linked to what I am doing for a living currently! Of cuz the expectations rises with the skills involved at work, esp from myself. Haha. Bimbo Wanjun, time to work harder for that HD!

So many things which I did over the last 2 weeks that I dunno where to begin with. Sharon and Rachel's bday bashes are now over, will update with pics when I have the time. Hehe. Very "salacious" pictures. *Grins*

Upcoming - Cyn's wedding and Louis' 21st bday bash! Its my first time being a "jie mei", so exciting, must dress up for the occasion! I used to be the flower girl and now, its jiemei, feels older tho. Haha, I am sure its gonna be fun!

Speaking about 21st bday, many of my friends are having chalets and bbqs, a lil gathering for all to relish the past. However I beg to differ. I have been secretly planning, for my 21st. Its definitely gonna be something memorable since its once in a lifetime. And........ I have decided. To save up for SCUBA DIVING! Looking out now for a good place to learn scuba diving and come October, I am so gonna take my first plunge into adulthood and responsibility, literally. Haha. Well, I have to monitor the monsoon weather in Msia first, hopefully it would be good.

Hmmm, I must make this materialise, most times, my dreams and hopes don't come true, but this time, I shall make it come true!!!!! Scuba diving - something which I have been wanting to try, in fact, dying to try! Sounds interesting? I think it is. Sharon who has done over 100 dives showed me some of her undar the sea pictures. The coral reefs are so gorgeous! Imagine dancing in the water with those exotic marine animals..... I can only imagine. Seriously, why not try the real deal right? PRECISELY! I shall go get my diving cert first! August!!!!!! $400 gonna fly away.... :( But its for the out of the world experience that one can ever buy. Do it when you are young aren't it true? I think so. :) I seriously hope this one comes true for me!


Going to Bugis tml with fefe, considered today la, since its already Saturday. I shall make a trip down to the new MDS retail shop opening at Haji lane later! I love their clothes! Its so ME! You girls can visit their webbie at www.mdscollections.com for pretty pretty clothes. :) Even online shopping is fun, I still prefer the good old brick-and-motar retail concept. :)



Somehow, I feel the distance apart with that someone special. There is no longer this "special thing" we once shared. In fact, I believe it has actually disappeared with time. It's saddening but there is nothing much I can do, or rather, that I want to do. It started from me and it shld end from me. I think, I have given up, its time to let go now, cuz I am tired of trying. Or maybe the fact that I haven't even tried my very best at all. I don't know how to begin with, or end with. Perhaps time wasn't an advantage. All I can say is that, sometimes being normal friends is better off than anything else, at least, minusing off the expectations from one another. That's what I can do now. When your expectations are higher, you tend to sink faster. I rather not expect too much, cuz no matter what, you can nv meet the expectations I have for you. Its not your fault, just that lately, I have learned that you are you, I am always the me. I don't need anything to change cuz it won't be anymore natural. I like the way you are and seriously, I hope we can still be the best of friends.

Lesson learnt, nv set expectations for something that you don't even see in the first place. I guess I was too selfish. You are just the you. And I will always be the me. You and your family will always be the someone special who brought me through one of the bestest times in my life. I have learned and grown by a big margin. Thank you. And I sincerely hope the next time we do meet, we can be back to what we were, chirpy, chitty chatty, lame and not anything close to gloomy, irritated or angry. We are humans afterall and for a matter of fact, I hate such moods, I hate such "lets compete who can be more sarcastic" games. Goodbye and Hello.
